COVID -19 UPDATE

The WHO organisation has declared the pandemic has officially ended.

However, Covid continues to do harm to people in New Zealand.

We are still asking that patients wear masks on entry to our rooms and to contact us prior to arriving if they have developed respiratory symptoms.

Please be aware that currently it is reommended that any major surgical procedures are delayed for 8 weeks from the onset of Covid symtpoms and are then undertaken provided that there are no ongoing symptoms.  For minor surgery the recommendation is for 4 weeks.
