COVID -19 UPDATEThere have been some recent changes to Covid regulations. We no longer ned you to scan in when attending the clinics at the rooms. We are still maintaining spacing between patients in the waiting room. Additionally we require you to wear appropriate face coverings during your visit as required under the MOH framework unless you have a valid exemption. You must advise us if you become unwell prior to your appointment at the Rooms. We have undertaken an extensive and comprehensive Covid risk assessment which we have recently updated. We have taken into consideration multiple factors, such as, but not limited to, the following: patient mix including the likelihood of patient co-morbidities and subsequent risk level, staff risk level, wider risk to the Manawatu should mutliple Orthopaedic Surgeons have to isolate and/or become infected. As a result there may be unavoidable delays to appointment times. In order to limit contact between patients we may ask you to remain in your car and/or outside the Rooms prior to your consultation. For everyone's safety we have also installed hospital level air filtration systems at the Rooms. We continue to work closely with Crest Hospital to provide safe surgical services.
